Job Opportunity: Secondary Teacher

The Toronto District School Board is seeking a qualified Secondary Teacher to join our team at Martingrove Collegiate Institute.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher to teach a variety of subjects, including Foundational Mathematics, Learning Strategies, and Principles of Mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and be able to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of subjects to students in grades 9 and 10
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and supportive school culture

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario teaching certification
  • Strong subject matter expertise in Mathematics and Learning Strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
