Position Overview

As a Senior Data Engineering Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in crafting solutions for the collection, integration, and management of data. Your expertise will guide the development, maintenance, and operation of computer applications and data pipelines, ensuring thorough functional analysis, IT design, coding, optimization, and documentation of programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the design and construction of data collection systems and platforms as part of strategic, multidisciplinary data engineering projects.
  • Supervise the creation of data pipelines, along with the integration, transformation, and consolidation of data from various systems into formats suitable for diverse contexts.
  • Manage the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of innovative systems that align with business requirements.
  • Utilize various scripting languages and tools to handle and produce complex datasets.
  • Lead the development of algorithms, prototypes, and proofs of concept within highly innovative and conceptually challenging projects.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for system improvements based on trends and behaviors, anticipating the impacts of changes and ensuring the enhancement of data management services.
  • Establish and document IT best practices, procedures, and decisions. Provide guidance and training to teams on data engineering processes, continually improving them for greater efficiency in data handling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of eight years of pertinent experience.
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in French is required.
