We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Terry-Lynne Mactavish Professional Corporation.
Job Summary:The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Prepare and process payroll, including calculating and preparing cheques, and administering benefits.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, data analysis software, and MS Excel.
