Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation Operations: Operate a flatbed truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Load Management: Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, using straps, chains, and other fastening devices as required.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized truck.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition, maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

  • Valid AZ Driver's License: Possess a valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as an AZ driver, with experience operating a manual flatbed truck.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedures, excellent driving skills, and strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical Demands: Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, with the ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
