Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Records Management Specialist to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and reliable records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective records management strategies to ensure efficient and secure storage and retrieval of records.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address records management needs and gaps.
  • Provide training and support to employees on records management best practices and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with records management policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain records management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in records management or a related field.
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
