Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Physical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of next-generation physical design methodologies and flows.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of next-generation physical design methodologies and flows in advanced technology nodes.
  • Perform physical design implementation, including floor planning, power grid design, place and route, clock tree synthesis, timing closure, power/signal integrity signoff, physical verification (DRC/LVS/Antenna), EM/IR signoff, DFM Closure.
  • Collaborate with our RTL design team and Analog Team to ensure successful tapeouts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • 10+ years of work experience in physical design.
  • Extensive knowledge of design rules for N7/N5 and below.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and their application in methodology.
  • Ability to fix physical design violations, including DRC, DFM, LVS, ANT, ERC, etc.
  • Deep experience in static timing analysis.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • High level of communication and teamwork skills.
  • Carefulness, responsibility, and persistence.
