About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Soni & Sons Construction. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing tiles in various locations, including walls, floors, and countertops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place, aligning and straightening them to ensure a professional finish.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout to achieve a clean and even finish.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles to maintain the integrity of the installation.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs and patterns.
Work Environment

As a Tile Installer, you will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites, warehouses, and offices. You will be exposed to dust, odors, and noise, and will be required to lift heavy loads and work at heights.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in tile installation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and have good hand-eye coordination.
