Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recreational programs that cater to the interests and needs of our residents.
  • Assist in setting up activity areas and transporting residents to and from programs as needed.
  • Monitor residents' interests, needs, and progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Promote social interaction among residents by leading activities and events, and introducing new residents to the community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Certificate in recreation/leisure studies or equivalent.
  • Experience working with seniors, including an understanding of motivation concepts.
  • Understanding of leisure principles and computer proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license (Class F or provincial equivalent) if required to drive a bus.
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Records Check.
