About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Manulife. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using a range of technologies, including JavaScript, React, Redux, Node, and MongoDB.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
  • Work closely with our Quality Engineers to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and make recommendations for how we can leverage those technologies to drive business value.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
  • Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, React, and Redux.
  • Experience with Node.js, Java, and other programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with MongoDB.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
