Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated automotive technicians who can work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with colleagues. Our full-service facility is designed to foster an environment of success and growth. If you aspire to enhance your skills and become a licensed technician, this is the ideal place for you to learn and achieve your professional goals.
Key Responsibilities
As an automotive technician at Midas, you will be responsible for a variety of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Tire installation and repair
- Battery services, including starting and charging systems
- Oil change services
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- The ability to independently repair vehicles while also thriving in a team setting
- Knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics
- Understanding of safety and environmental regulations relevant to repair facilities
- Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
- A valid Provincial Certificate of Qualification
- A current driver's license
- The capability to service both domestic and import vehicles
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is $25.00.
