Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Aide to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining assigned areas in an orderly, safe, clean, and attractive condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain assigned areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning products as required.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Maintain high work performance standards and adhere to departmental procedures and policies.
Requirements
  • High School education (Grade 10 equivalent required).
  • Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred.
  • Ability to understand and accurately follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Working Conditions

This is a casual position that requires the ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of physical fitness.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.
