Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at T.E.O. Korean Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all food preparation and presentation meet our high standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and well-maintained.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sharpen kitchen knives as needed.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
