We are seeking an experienced Assistant Team Leader to join our team at Dollarama L.P. As an Assistant Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the management team in executing and overseeing daily retail store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing store operations and staff
  • Box and unbox daily shipments
  • Stock daily products on shelves
  • Climb ladders to reach all areas of the store
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues
  • Ensure store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained
  • Perform cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed
  • Follow-up on assigned tasks
  • Conduct managers on duty tasks: ensure daily breaks, time and attendance are taken
  • Participate in the hiring and performance management process

Requirements:

  • Approximately one (1) year of relevant experience in the retail industry
  • At least one (1) year in a supervisory role
  • Flexible availability required (day, evening, weekend)
  • Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrates leadership, organizational and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in a dynamic, fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Customer service oriented
