About the role...

This position plays a crucial role in our operations, responsible for managing all aspects related to vehicle sales processing, including:

  • Preparing daily bank deposits and reconciling cash clearing accounts.
  • Managing accounts receivable collections and reconciliations.
  • Overseeing full cycle accounts payable.
  • Posting all manufacturer invoices.
  • Recording New, PreOwned, wholesale, and dealer trade sales.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations.
  • Providing backup support to the accounting team during month-end and year-end processes.
  • Processing payroll for salaried, hourly, and commission employees.

About you...

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in accounting administration and processing, including:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a dealership setting
  • Post-secondary education in accounting
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., CDK/Reynolds/OneEighty)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • A passion for working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and meet deadlines
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organizational and strategic abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining professionalism
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
