Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Dish Management: Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables appropriately.
  • Linen Handling: Carry and replace linen as needed.
  • Sanitation Duties: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs after service.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware efficiently.
  • Storage Organization: Place dishes in designated storage areas.
  • Supply Replenishment: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Hand Washing: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items manually.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
  • Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
  • Knife Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are ready for use.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
Equipment Experience
  • Familiarity with deep fryers, food dispensers, and grills is advantageous.
Work Environment

This position involves repetitive tasks and requires the ability to handle weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs). The working hours are typically between 35 to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications
  • No formal education, degree, or diploma is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
