About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Education Assistant to join our team at Anglophone South School District. As a Casual Education Assistant, you will provide support to teachers and exceptional students in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers with the performance of their duties, including lesson planning and implementation.
  • Provide physical and emotional support to exceptional students, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of educational programs and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with exceptional students and/or in an educational setting an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
