Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead the development and maintenance of data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, security, and integrity, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Manage data exchanges between Thales and various stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, and other Thales companies.
- Develop and maintain data metrics and reporting, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision making and business outcomes.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Science, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, with a focus on data governance, data infrastructure, and data analytics.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing data management strategies, with a focus on business outcomes.
- Expertise in data governance, data quality, and data security.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data management tools, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.
- Experience in the Defence industry.
- Fluency in French.
- Management of budget worth at least 250kCAD.
