The Automation Technician plays a crucial role in the programming, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning of new or modified production and testing machinery. This position is also responsible for maintaining comprehensive equipment documentation systems and revising technical manuals and schematics as necessary. The role requires hands-on repair and upkeep of automation systems, robotics, and CNC machining centers within a manufacturing setting. A solid understanding of various control systems and industry standards is essential. Strong communication and analytical skills are vital for success in this position.

Key Requirements:

  • Technical diploma in Automation or Engineering Technology
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance of automation and robotics
  • Proficiency with various control systems and robotic technologies
  • Knowledge of PLC, CNC, Electrical, and Mechanical Systems
  • Familiarity with industry standards and practices

Language Skills:

  • Strong command of English - both written and spoken

Work Environment:

  • 12-hour continental shifts
  • Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment problems, developing new program codes, and commissioning machinery

Salary and Benefits:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of $75,000. Benefits include company events, dental coverage, life insurance, profit sharing, and more, along with 2 weeks of paid vacation.
