Job Title: Special Needs Educational Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Educational Assistant to join our team at Building Blocks Childcare Centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting, promoting a smooth and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report student progress to the classroom teacher, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support students with various needs, providing individualized attention and care.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Own transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
