Job Summary:

RONA is seeking a skilled Head Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for supervising our cashiers, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise cashiers to ensure service standards are being maintained
  • Oversee register coverage and store supply usage
  • Provide refunds and monitor cash drawer amounts
  • Perform opening and closing procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and addressing any issues
  • Understand, train, and promote company programs and initiatives
  • Train and mentor new associates
  • Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

Requirements:

  • 1 year of retail experience
  • 1 year of experience in team supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to details
