About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at NVS Connect Inc. as a key member of our financial operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Accounting Software Management: Manage and maintain accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage Accounting Software, to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting, with a strong background in financial record keeping and accounting software.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
