Position Overview
As a Sales Development Specialist at Black & White Zebra, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our pay-per-lead (PPL) program revenue. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the needs of potential clients and guide them towards the most suitable software solutions tailored to their business requirements. You will leverage your expertise to ensure that our audience is well-informed and able to make educated decisions regarding the software options available from various SaaS vendors.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass three main areas of focus:

  • Engage with leads to qualify them according to our established processes and align them with appropriate SaaS vendors.
  • Oversee the lead pipeline and collaborate with fellow advisors to optimize client interactions.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and address feedback from leads to enhance service delivery.

Performance Metrics
Your success will be evaluated based on the following key performance indicators (KPIs):

  • Revenue generation ($)
  • Lead qualification rate (%)
  • Lead processing time (#)
  • Activity levels (#)

Required Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A solid understanding of SaaS software.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field.
  • Comfort with making 30-50 calls daily.
  • Experience in lead qualification (bonus points for BANT methodology).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Experience in a phone/video-centric role.

Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences would be advantageous:

  • Background in SaaS sales.
  • Experience with outbound calling.
  • Knowledge of software categories such as ERP, GRC, PM, CRM, PSA, HR, BPM.
  • Experience in identifying new opportunities, with a focus on inbound and outbound leads.
  • Familiarity with Zoho CRM and enablement tools like Klenty.

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers flexibility in work arrangements, including remote, hybrid, or onsite options. The annual salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 CAD, complemented by an uncapped commission structure. The expected total earnings (OTE) range from $90,000 to $105,000. Salary levels are determined based on skills, experience, and market data, ensuring equity among team members.
