Sanitation Operator at SL4 Plant

Training Requirements: On-the-job training provided

Objective: To ensure cleanliness of the production line and adjacent areas

Training Overview: Selected candidates will receive training from an experienced sanitation staff member. The duration of training will vary based on the new employee's ability to master the responsibilities of the role. The Sanitation Supervisor will determine when the training is complete and the employee is ready to perform all assigned tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of the production line and other designated areas.
  • Utilize a water hose and approved cleaning agents (post-training) to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Report any safety concerns to management.
  • Proactively seek improvements in plant sanitation practices.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Daily Duties Include:

  • Cleaning packaging and dry storage areas.
  • Maintaining cleanliness around designated outdoor areas.
  • Washing all main entry doors within the facility.
  • Collecting waste both inside and outside the facility.
  • Conducting hose inspections.
  • Cleaning cement borders and walls.
  • Washing waste containers.
  • Scrubbing floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions (manual cleaning if equipment is unavailable).
  • Cleaning pipes, railings, and stairways.
  • Assisting with tasks assigned by other supervisors.
  • Changing and cleaning chemical drums as necessary.
  • Completing scheduled cleaning tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Providing support to other operators as needed.
  • Mandatory participation on designated clean-up days.
  • Executing MDI tasks assigned to sanitation personnel.
