We offer a range of services including advanced 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling, CNC turning with live tooling, as well as precision sheet metal fabrication and various finishing services. Our clientele includes leading names in the Canadian and American defense sectors.

Available Positions and Shifts:

We have multiple openings for the Afternoon Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:30 pm to 2:00 am and Friday, 3:15 pm to 7:15 pm.

Compensation: Based on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

The role of CNC Machinist at Ben Machine Products encompasses the following duties:

  • Set up and operate 3 and 4-axis CNC vertical milling machines.
  • Utilize appropriate tools, fixtures, and indicators for machine setup.
  • Load, unload, and modify programs as necessary.
  • Change and set cutting tools as required.
  • Modify and grind tools when needed.
  • Adjust feeds and speeds to optimize efficiency.
  • Operate machinery while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Deburr and prepare components for processing.
  • Measure and inspect parts to confirm compliance with specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints effectively.
  • Comprehend geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience for junior roles.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience for senior roles.
  • A certificate of qualification, college degree, or relevant training in CNC machining is advantageous.
  • Experience with Fanuc or Haas systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with Mastercam is preferred.
  • Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing is an asset.
  • Experience in a jobbing shop environment is beneficial.
