Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Specialty Foods Baker to join our team at St. Phillips Food Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recipe Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Pastry Preparation: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment in our bake shop, where attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions

You will be required to work in a bakery environment, which may involve exposure to flour, sugar, and other ingredients. You will also be required to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

Personal Qualities
  • Accuracy: You must be accurate in your work and able to follow recipes and instructions.
  • Dependability: You must be dependable and able to work independently.
