As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of our childcare centre, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our young learners.

Responsibilities:

* Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
* Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
* Maintain daycare equipment and order supplies as needed
* Assist with record-keeping and submitting written observations on children
* Engage children in activities and guide them in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits

Requirements:

* Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification
* First Aid and CPR certification
* Experience working with children an asset
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
