Job Title: Part-time Casual Porter

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Casual Porter to join our team at Everclean Facility Services. As a Part-time Casual Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Tasks:
    • Sweep and clean all common areas, including light poles, planters, curbs, and parking areas.
    • Empty and clean garbage cans in common areas, using stainless steel cleaner for the exterior.
    • Mop stairs, elevator, and landing, and dust all edges around and above stairs and escalators.
    • Sweep service hallways, wipe all entry/exit doors and walls, and clean baseboard heaters.
    • Clean and maintain all white planters.
    • Clean escalator glass, handrails, and all stainless steel.
    • Clean and maintain all interior/exterior walls and lower ledges.
    • Respond to tenant requests as per administration office.
    • Clean and wipe down interior/exterior benches and soft seating in common areas.
    • Check washrooms for cleanliness and supplies.
    • Operate and maintain autoscrubbers.
    • Blow and collect leaves.
    • Pressure wash entrances, underground, and perimeters.
  • Weekly Tasks:
    • Dust all vents and signage accessible with a telescopic duster.
    • Clean water to be poured down floor drains to alleviate smells.
  • Monthly Tasks:
    • Dust and wipe baseboards, trims, and all ledges on a regular rotational basis.
    • Remove and reposition entrance mats, sweep and mop the floor underneath, and remove any stains or gum.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

  • Flexible hours to accommodate the operational needs of the mall.
  • Pay rate: $17.85 per hour.
