We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Robot Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Yaskawa. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for building, testing, and repairing electrical and mechanical sub-assembly components, as well as providing manufacturing support to meet or exceed our quality, delivery, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical and Mechanical Assembly: Build, test, and repair electrical and mechanical sub-assembly components, including automated system wiring and electrical panel assembly.
- Manufacturing Support: Provide manufacturing support to meet or exceed quality, delivery, and productivity standards, including adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.
- Quality Control: Evaluate and report discrepancies in Yaskawa Motoman standard components and special ordered parts, using our quality system.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels of consumable materials used in production, and recommend items to the Technical Buyer and Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Training and Development: Complete all departmental technical training programs, including necessary qualification requirements, and all associated safety training.
- Teamwork and Communication: Promote teamwork and foster an exemplary working environment, interacting with coworkers in a manner that enhances employee satisfaction.
- Certified Electrical Technician or Technologist with corresponding diploma and 3-5 years of experience with automated system wiring and electrical panel assembly.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficient use of electrical and mechanical hand tools, as well as hand-operated power tools.
- Physical Demands: Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear. Frequently required to stand or walk, and occasionally required to walk, sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
