Hotel Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at Swiss Hotel. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, organized, reliability, team player, honesty.

Requirements: No degree, certificate or diploma, urban area experience, hotel, motel, resort experience, ability to work 24 to 32 hours per week.
