Job Title: Construction Trades Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at GP Renovation Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Trades Helper will assist in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Handling heavy loads
