Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a General Farm Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, as well as performing various other tasks related to farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planting and Cultivating Crops: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Harvesting Crops: Harvest crops in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer demand.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate farm equipment, including combine harvesters and lift trucks, to perform various tasks.
  • Work Site Environment: Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, exposed to dust, heat, noise, and wet/damp conditions.
  • Work Setting: Work in a rural area, often in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting heavy loads.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 55 hours per week, depending on the season.
