Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Project Coordinator to provide construction and administrative support to our Project Manager for our Yorkton project. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with project teams in a strong team environment, responsible for project administration activities, including cost control, schedule control, and change order administration.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Project Manager with the preparation and execution of the work plan, construction schedule, and coordination of manpower, material, and equipment needs.
  2. Provide project documentation and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  3. Work on multiple projects with multiple teams, utilizing strong organizational skills and time management techniques to meet commitments.
  4. Communicate effectively with various individuals and stakeholders, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and relationships.
  5. Adapt and respond to changing needs, effectively troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise.
Requirements
  1. Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Construction Management or related discipline.
  2. 3+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator or related position in commercial construction industry.
  3. Experience working on multiple projects with multiple teams.
  4. A solid understanding of construction and safety practices, including knowledge of Alberta's Building Codes, Municipal zoning, and land use bylaws.
  5. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, and applicable project management software.
