Work Environment

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Help in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Support the medical examiner on-site as needed.
  • Clear rubble and debris from construction locations.
Required Certifications
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with circular saws, concrete saws, and various mixers.
  • Familiarity with grinding machines, chippers, air compressors, drills, and forklifts.
Specialization

Focus on industrial, commercial, and institutional construction projects.

Transportation Requirements
  • Must have personal transportation and be willing to travel regularly, including overnight trips.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Capable of handling heavy loads exceeding 45 kg (100 lbs).
