Job Title: Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our civil design and engineering consulting firm, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects across Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement stormwater management designs and land development projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the preparation of servicing and stormwater management studies, including master and functional servicing plans.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to internal teams and clients, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients, municipal authorities, and conservation organizations to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage junior staff and provide guidance and mentorship to support their growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Civil3D, PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, and HEC-RAS software.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in servicing and stormwater management related to land development engineering.
  • Valid registration or ability to register as a Professional Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist in Alberta.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Compensation:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $85,000-120,000, depending on experience.
