Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Little Footprints Academy (Peace Arch) Inc. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare program, ensuring the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Availability for the advertised start date.
  • Legal ability to work in Canada.
  • Residency in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Required certifications.
