We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Specialist to join our team at Vision Investment Group. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Software Development: Design, develop, and test software applications using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
- Code Maintenance: Maintain and update existing software applications to ensure they continue to meet the needs of our clients.
- Technical Communication: Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and system documentation.
- Requirements Gathering: Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements to ensure that software applications meet the needs of our clients.
- Specifications Development: Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications for software applications.
- Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate a variety of software products to ensure that they meet the needs of our clients.
- Client Support: Provide ongoing support to clients after the sale of software applications.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and will be required to perform repetitive tasks. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
Personal Qualities- Accuracy: The ability to work accurately and with attention to detail is essential.
- Client Focus: A strong client focus is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Organized: The ability to work in an organized and methodical way is required.
- Team Player: A strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams is essential.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in software development is required.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication, with the ability to communicate effectively in English required.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week is the standard work week.
