About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wood Product Assembler to join our team at BRC Group - Tayco. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and manufacturing high-quality wood products, ensuring that they meet our strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and manufacture wood products, including desks, credenzas, laterals, file cabinets, hutches, bookcases, and storage units.
  • Ensure that all products meet our quality standards and are manufactured in accordance with our standard operating procedures.
  • Operate hand and power tools, including drills, pneumatic guns, and wrapping machines.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines and targets.
  • Take initiative and demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
  • Multi-task and adapt to changing conditions and product mixes.
  • Work well with others and build effective working relationships within the department and company.
  • Lift materials up to 50 pounds and perform other physical tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in woodworking or assembly.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Good hand and eye coordination and muscular control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow established safety protocols and procedures.
