Job Summary

This is a posting for a Custodian position targeting applicants for supply in various schools and geographical areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of school buildings and equipment, ensuring compliance with Board, local and provincial government operational and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in school buildings and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Perform custodial activities within assigned areas in the school
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Have good interpersonal skills in dealing with adolescents and the general public
Requirements
  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Compliance with H & S guidelines
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments
  • Updated WHMIS training
  • Good attendance record
