Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Associate to join our team. As a Cashier Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Operate a cash register, accurately processing transactions and handling customer payments.
- Replenish merchandise around the checkout area, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed, maintaining a safe and secure store environment.
- Follow loss prevention best practices, preventing theft and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Comply with all policies when selling tobacco and lottery products.
Requirements
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when processing transactions.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive and collaborative store environment.
Physical Demands
- Stand and/or walk for extended periods.
- Bend, twist, and squat to perform tasks.
- Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.).
- Perform tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.
- Reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
- Operate equipment, including using a ladder.
