Site Superintendent - ICI Construction Management

Michael Page International Canada Limited is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join their ICI construction management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring that subcontractors and tradespeople meet project objectives.
  • Communication: Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to adhere to ICI project specifications and schedules.
  • Quality Control: Monitor project progress, address issues or delays promptly, and implement corrective measures to keep projects on track.
  • Safety: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all site personnel.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of project expenses, material usage, and labour to support budgeting and reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Facilitate clear communication among team members, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure project alignment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ICI Superintendent, with a proven track record managing ICI projects and experience in new build hotel projects.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Certifications: Gold Seal certification or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with construction management software and tools.
