Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Premiere Van Lines. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles) to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience for clients and colleagues alike.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles), Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles), First Aid Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.

You will be required to work overtime, handle heavy loads, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
