About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at 13625206 Canada Inc Corp. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

The primary language of work is English.
