About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fleet Clerk. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our vehicles are ready for rental, which includes coordinating oil changes, detailing, registration, inventory, staging, and tracking non-rentable vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate vehicle inspections and registrations to ensure rental readiness
  • Organize the staging of vehicles on the lot to ensure efficient processing
  • Review and manage non-rentable units (out of service) to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to resolve status issues and get cars back on the road
  • Inventory vehicles and monitor asset control, including adding new asset tags to incoming fleet and ensuring current fleet is properly tracked
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, responding to emails, viewing reports, and attending conference calls
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Canadian driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
  • 20 years of age
  • Prior experience in the car rental industry preferred, but not required
  • Prior asset control experience preferred, but not required
  • Prior logistic or transportation experience preferred, but not required
