About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Butcher, Industrial to join our team at Olymel S.E.C/L.P. As a key member of our meat processing and packing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Slaughter and Processing: Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses.
  • Cutting and Preparation: Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use.
  • Work Environment: Work in a noisy, odorous, and dusty environment with cold refrigerated conditions.
  • Work Setting: Work in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: French.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
