Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Cold Lake. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our linens and uniforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and Add Chemicals: Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to ensure optimal cleaning results.
  • Laundry Processing: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and assemble and bag finished articles.
  • Quality Control: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met, and record any damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate dryers and washing machines to ensure efficient and effective laundry processing.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for the role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
