Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Advisor to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our Advisory Team, you will play a critical role in deepening client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor, including preparing documentation and executing post-meeting work.
  • Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail.
  • Respond to client account inquiries and follow up as required.
  • Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans.
  • Identify and execute opportunities among existing clients for asset consolidation, referrals, and other growth initiatives.
  • Support the advisory team and clients through the Wealth Management process, including gathering information, coordinating activities, and tracking progress.
Requirements
  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT).
  • At least 24 years of professional experience in the investment industry.
  • University degree.
  • A self-directed individual with a growth-oriented mindset and exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

The expected base salary range for this position is $38,000 - $55,000, depending on experience, skills, and registration status. You also have the potential to earn significantly more through RBC's discretionary bonus program.
