Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and related machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct trailer inspections, load full good trailers, and offload Port–o-Pets.
  • Clean the shipping area as required, including mopping the PIT area, emptying garbage bins, and other cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Relieve on production lines for breaks as per relief schedule and line operator requirements.
  • Bring hazardous conditions to management's attention and report incidents, accidents, or near misses.
  • Participate in hazard assessments and analysis, and bring discrepancies in inventory accuracy to management's attention.
  • Assist in continuously improving efficiency, performance, and reducing downtime and waste.
  • Promote enthusiastic, positive, and proactive attitudes and team-based behaviors.
  • Commit to achieving team, department, and company goals.
Requirements
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Approximately 3+ years in a fast-moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written.
  • Solid understanding of production machinery and forklifts, including technical issues.
  • Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Working Conditions
  • Physical: Continuously standing or walking, regular lifting/handling/carrying of moderate weight.
  • Visual/Sensory: Regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time.
  • Work environment: Very repetitive work and environment.
  • Mental Stress: Pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy, or similar demands.
