Financial Planner

As a Financial Planner at Scotiabank, you will be a key member of the branch sales team, responsible for driving success by meeting and exceeding negotiated deposit and investment sales goals. Your primary focus will be on establishing and deepening investment and primary banking relationships with existing customers, as well as those referred by branch partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver trusted financial advice to customers on complex investment and retirement planning
- Take a proactive approach to discovering customers' needs and providing tailored solutions
- Conduct comprehensive reviews for assigned customers, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning
- Educate customers on relevant insights and expert advice, building strong relationships and providing a great client experience
- Demonstrate a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, customers, and partners
Requirements:
- Successful completion of the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
- Minimum three years of experience in financial planning and investment sales
- Demonstrated sales management experience and ability to market Scotiabank
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners
