We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Clinician to enhance our outpatient services. In this role, you will engage with children, adolescents, and their families, delivering effective single session therapy and support. You will work closely with our clinical leadership and consultation team to ensure the highest standard of care for our clients. This position also includes responsibilities in group development and facilitation, along with other relevant tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Perform intake assessments, clinical interviews, and client screenings
  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work in partnership with team members to provide comprehensive care
  • Potentially supervise practicum students in their training

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or Psychiatric Nursing is required
  • Must be actively registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate regulatory college in Alberta

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in single session therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques
  • Background in working with children, youth, and families in a mental health context
