French Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified French tutor to join our team at Prep Academy Tutors. As a French tutor, you will provide one-on-one instruction to students in the Vancouver area, helping them to improve their French language skills and achieve their academic goals.

About the Role

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that allows you to work with students in a variety of settings, including their homes and select clubs in the Vancouver area. You will be responsible for providing academic support to students based on your expertise and knowledge of the BC curriculum, as well as providing supplemental assignments and remedial/enrichment support as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the BC curriculum
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in French language instruction
Requirements
  • BC Certified Teacher or soon-to-be certified
  • Experience teaching French language to students of various ages and skill levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
